What We Do
Rooted in the multitude of identities that make up the Latinx culture of NYC, we utilize art, live performances and community events to bring about awareness; to raise funds for charity services and for the collection of goods/donations in order to help build the people of the community and to help feed those that go hungry.
THREE KINGS DAY
Latinos NYC holds an annual toy drive for Three Kings Day, where we donate toys to over 200 children in the system. Man y of these children would not get to experience some holiday cheer if it was not for the generous donations we receive.
FEED THE HUNGRY
No matter what he circumstances are you can find us at Tomkins Square on the third Saturday of every month feeding anyone who comes to us in need. With the help of volunteers and donations we are able to ensure no one is ever is ever turned away.
HOW TO HELP
Attend an Event
LatinosNYC aims to offer monthly events that includes an Open Mic with features from 7 pm to 9 pm; always held at the NuyoRican Poets’ Café.These shows offered are used to benefit the needy of NYC and all around. The funds collected (from an entry fee and donations from the audience), from our events, goes towards serving the community: feeding the homeless, supporting the needy (children and adults), and growing the community.
We rely on volunteers in order to accomplish our goal of feeding the hungry. Come out to Tompkins Square Park on the third Saturday, of the month to help us distribute meals to any one who is need.
Latinos NYC runs entirely on donations, so whether it is food or funds, ALL donations are greatly appreciated! Our cashapp is $latinosnyc.
Spread the Word
In order to cultivate change we all must work together. One of the best ways to help us, help others, is by spreading the word of our mission!
